What are the system requirements for running kDataGrid?

kDataGrid for PHP requires a web server (preferably Apache), PHP version 4.3 or higher or PHP version 5.1 or higher and MySql version 4.1 or higher.

For the trial version Zend Optimizer is also required.

What database engines does kDataGrid support?

As of version 1.2 kDataGrid supports MySql, Postgres, Oracle and SQL Server 2005.

Does kDataGrid support themes?

Yes. kDataGrid comes with a default theme as an example and uses a template engine to generate it's pages. You can use the dault theme as a starting point for a new theme and edit it to match your website look-and-feel. Check out the kDataGrid folder structure to see which are the files you will need to modify.

Is kDataGrid encrypted with Zend/SourceGuardian/etc? Is an open source version available?

The licensed version of kDataGrid is not encrypted. The trial version is encrypted with Zend Guard and requires Zend Optimizer is also required to run properly.
