Where to obtain topographic data from Quebec?

I am looking for some topographic data that I can download free online. What I want to do with this data is used to make a map using the GMT program that can be found here: http://gmt.soest.hawaii.edu/. I need to be able to convert these data in raster format using the command xyz2grd. Does anyone know where I can obtain topographic data out of Quebec that will allow me to do.

You can get Toporama topographic maps (Atlas of Canada), but I 'm not sure you will be able to use what you get for your goal, especially because I do not know exactly what is your goal. You may be able to find digital elevation data from NRCan as the guy before me suggested.
